The driver of a school bus was seriously injured as a result of an accident Monday afternoon in Center Township.
According to State Police, around 4 p.m. a school bus drove off Holyoke Road and hit a tree just south of Hollow Lane.
Crews from Unionville and Oneida Valley were among those responding to the scene to find the driver of the school bus, 29-year-old Jordan Johnson of Butler unconscious.
Three Butler ambulance units were needed, and a Stat MedEvac helicopter was requested to land near the intersection with Glenwood Way to fly the driver for treatment of moderate injuries.
One additional adult, believed to be a bus monitor, was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A child passenger also suffered minor injuries.
