Families with kids interested in learning more about science, technology, engineering, and math are invited to an event this weekend at the Carnegie Science Center.
The Science Center is partnering with child advocacy organization KidsVoice for a free learning opportunity called Kites for Kids on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The program will focus on the science behind the creation of kites. Participants will also be able to make models of the solar system and miniature parachutes as well as optical illusions, helicopters, and sun catchers.
Visit the Science Center’s website for more information.
