The Pennsylvania Department of Labor has released the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate and the numbers aren’t as strong as originally projected.
Original projections had unemployment at 3.2 percent in Butler County but the seasonally adjusted number saw the rate at 3.6 percent.
Pennsylvania saw the rate change from 3.7 percent to 3.9 percent while the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area (Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties) saw the rate increase from 3.6 percent to 3.9 percent.
