The Seattle Storm swept the Las Vegas Aces to win their fourth WNBA championship following a 92-59 rout last night. The Storm joins Minnesota and Houston as the only franchises to win four titles. Seattle had a better than 15-point average margin of victory while going 6-0 in the postseason. Breanna Stewart was the series MVP for the second time in her career. The 26-year old set a WNBA record by scoring more than 20 points in all six postseason games.
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat 102-96 last night – to take a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Final. The Series resumes Friday.
