A local lawmaker is supporting an effort to reform Pennsylvania’s redistricting process.
Republican State Senator Scott Hutchinson is a cosponsor of Senate Bill 222 also known as the Legislative and Congressional Redistricting Act.
The goal of this bipartisan legislation is to promote openness and public input during the process that will begin after the 2020 census data is received later this year.
Senate Bill 222 was introduced in February and will next be considered by the Senate State Government Committee.
