The Ottawa Senators defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4 in overtime last night. The Pens allowed the Senators to score four power play goals. They scored twice on their own power plays, but served nine penalties in the game. Sidney Crosby had three assists for the Penguins, who had four different goal-scorers.
The Pens return home to host Ottawa Friday night. They will travel to New Jersey for a Sunday afternoon game with the Devils, who are in second place in the Metropolitan Division – one point behind first-place Carolina.
