Seneca Valley School District has announced a new diverse art series.
The Celebration Art Series is a unique visual art exhibition program at the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School Big Gallery.
Visiting artists selected by a student committee will have the chance to spotlight diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Seneca Valley District and community through a six week display. Artists will present a talk to students about materials, background, and processes of pieces as well as career opportunities.
This series is a collaboration between the SV Intermediate Art Club and the school’s local chapter of SHOUT which stands for Social Handprints Overcoming Unjust Treatment. The series runs through April.
