Seneca Valley School District is moving forward with a major construction project at their high school campus.
The school board voted 8-1 to approve the $118 million project that will build new classrooms, labs, and other learning space.
The district presented five options at the meeting, and went with “Option 5” which was the most expensive.
There are also renovations to the locker rooms, auditorium, and cafeteria included in this bid.
Officials say the new building is necessary due to the continued growth in the district.
