The Seneca Valley School Board recently made a hire to an administrative position that helps to oversee student athletics and activities.
During a school board meeting in May, members approved the hiring of Eddie Kurtz to the position of Assistant Director of Athletics and Activities.
Kurtz previously worked for the Avonworth School District for the past seven years as football coach for the middle school and varsity teams as well as assistant wrestling coach and strength and conditioning coach for girls soccer.
Kurtz grew up in the North Hills area and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
Kurtz is one of two assistants to Seneca Valley Director of Athletics and Activities Heather Lewis.
