The Seneca Valley School District is receiving recognition for their collaborative efforts with Cranberry Township.
The district recently was named as the winner of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisor Youth Award.
The award is given out in Hershey each year to recognize youth groups that make valuable and lasting contributions to improve life in the state’s townships.
The association cited several volunteer programs students participate in, including the Leaf Angels and Tree Planting Blitz.
