Seneca Valley School Students placed in the top 10 at a National Decathlon.
In March Seneca Valley’s Academic Decathlon took home the first-place prize in Harrisburg which advanced them to the national competition.
The team placed 7th nationally while junior Ophelia Crano won bronze for art, senior Ashley Kemp earned the bronze for Essay, and junior Gavin Cress won both a bronze in Speech and a silver in Interview.
Junior Rohin Jayaraman was also awarded for being the highest scoring member on the Seneca Valley team while junior Kaia Satory who earned the Most Valuable Team Member Award.
Coach David Reichard has already announced next year’s team them will be centered around “Our Changing Climate.”
