Two Seneca Valley players have been selected as the Class 6A Players of the Year by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Senior softball standout Lexi Hames was named the 6A softball player of the year. Hames is also now a two-time Gatorade Pennsylvania Player of the Year.
Senior baseball standout Ryan Piekutoski was also named the Class 6A Player of the Year. He was the top hitter in the 6A level, batting over .500 with 12 doubles, five home runs and 26 RBI’s.
