A local senior living facility honored Veterans Day by celebrating with a resident who served in the Marine Corps.
92-year-old Harold “Bus” Neigh served in the Marine Corps starting in 1953. He would go on to fight in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956.
Neigh now lives at the Magnolia Place in Saxonburg, where residents and staff gathered yesterday for the opening of a new art gallery celebrating Neigh’s life.
The gallery is called “Brushes and Blooms” and will feature his artwork and highlight his passion for gardening.
