The Knoch Knights (0-1) fell in their home-season opener to the Highland Golden Rams (1-0) by a score of 39-7. The Knights’ lone score came in the third quarter.
The Knights return to action next Friday, 9/18, against Greensburg Salem (0-1). Hear the game beginning at 6:30 with the Coach’s show and pregame at 6:30 pm on WISR 680 AM. Kickoff is set for 7 PM.
The Butler Golden Tornado (0-1) also kicked off the season with a loss at Erie Cathedral Prep (1-0) by a score of 55-21. The Golden Tornado faced a 2-score deficit at the end of the first half, but were outscored 27-7 in the second half with the lone score coming early in the third quarter.
The Golden Tornado return to action next Friday, 9/18, with their home-opener against McDowell (1-0).
