A Seven Fields man is facing charges after allegedly choking a woman and charging at Police while resisting arrest.
Police were called to a home on the 400 block of Hilltop court for a report of a domestic assault.
When police arrived on scene they discovered 38-year-old Anthony Giannetti in the driveway of the home.
According to police, Giannetti would not listen to verbal commands and would eventually be tased and taken into custody.
Police were called to the home because Giannetti is accused of knocking down and choking a woman. When police talked with the victim they identified red marks around her neck and on her face.
Giannetti is facing several charges, including resisting arrest, simple assault, and strangulation. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail with a formal Arraignment scheduled for Dec. 31.
