Governor Josh Shapiro has once again filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration over federal funding and aid.
19 other states have joined in the lawsuit that Shapiro says opposes cuts to aid relief and federal grants that prevent further disasters such as flooding and wild fires.
The Trump administration argues they can use the ‘agency priorities clause’ which they say if an agency deems a program “no longer effectuates the program goals or agency priorities,” they can cut the program.
While the lawsuit asks the courts to clarify if agencies can eliminate funding already awarded.
