Pennsylvanians can now text Governor Josh Shapiro thanks to a new text line.
Last Friday, the governor said that you can text him at 717-788-8990.
Messages will include updates of news in the commonwealth and those who sign up can send messages to the Governor’s office.
Responses will be sent directly to users and will not sell user data. There will also be no dependence on an algorithm when distributing information.
This information is being sent out through the two-communication system, Community, a short message service.
