Butler County Sheriff Mike Slupe is joining an advisory committee for a candidate for governor.
Slupe was announced as a member of Lou Barletta’s Public Safety Advisory Board.
According to a press release, the board serves in helping Barletta craft legislative priorities for public safety.
Slupe is the latest elected county official to support Barletta’s candidacy for the Republican nomination for governor; joining county commissioners Leslie Osche and Kim Geyer.
