Sidney Crosby has been selected as one of the first six players for Team Canada for the 2026 Olympics, as initial rosters were unveiled Monday. He will be joined by Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon.
The first six for the United States team will include Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, Auston Matthews and Jack Eichel.
Full rosters will be released by January. The Winter Olympics will be hosted by Milan and Cortina in Italy next year. It is the first time since 2014 that the NHL players will participate in the Olympics. Crosby won Gold with Canada in 2010 and 2014.
