A local theater group is inviting the public to a musical comedy performance this weekend.
Sing Hosanna! is performing Bye Bye Birdie at Butler County Community College’s Succop Theater on Friday at 7:30 p.m., as well as a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.
The story follows a rock singer who travels to a small Ohio town to make his “farewell” television performance and kiss his biggest fan before he is drafted.
Tickets cost $18 for reserved general admission and are available through the Sing Hosanna website.
