A local theater group is getting ready to stage a musical performance of a tale highlighting strength in numbers.
Sing Hosanna! is performing Disney Newsies Jr at Butler County Community College’s Succop Theater Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The story is inspired by true events from the turn of the last century in New York City when powerful newspaper publishers raise prices causing newsboys to unite against unfair conditions.
Tickets cost $18 for reserved general admission and are available through the Sing Hosanna website.
