The deadline has officially passed and skill game enforcement will begin today.
In June, the State Supreme Court set a 120-day deadline for the legislative to send a bill to Governor Josh Shapiro’s desk that would legalize skill game machines or extend the deadline. Both the state house and senate failed to put legislation together before the deadline.
After a last-minute attempt to get an extension on the deadline was rejected by the courts the deadline has now come and gone.
Skill game enforcement has officially begun today. Meaning any business still operating the machines could face penalties for operating an illegal slot machine.
