The Slippery Rock University College of Liberal Arts along with History and Music Departments are sponsoring a free program later this week to continue the memory of the Holocaust.
The annual Holocaust Remembrance Program begins Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. with the screening of a film called “Three Girls from Shanghai” in the Smith Student Center Theater.
Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center’s Miller Theater, a talk titled “Witness to the Holocaust” will be given by Holocaust survivor Erika Taubner Gold along with a musical performance.
Finally, on Thursday a theatrical performance of “The Singer of Shanghai” will take place 12:30 p.m. in the Smith Student Center Theater with SRU students as cast members.
All programs are free and open to the public.
