A Slippery Rock man is facing charges for stealing a motorcycle from another county in Pennsylvania.
On Sunday just before 2 p.m., officers in Harrisville Borough did a registration check on a motorcycle that came back saying the vehicle was stolen.
Officers then pulled over 38-year-old Jeramiah Weaver, who allegedly told police he “hopped on it, turned the key and left.” The bike was stolen around on Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Weaver was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
A preliminary hearing date has not been schedule.
