Area residents are invited to Slippery Rock this weekend to get a moonlit look at nature while giving thanks.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jennings Environmental Education Center staff will lead a Naturally Grateful Moonlit walk from the Prairie Area and Trails parking lot.
This walk over an easy trail will cover about a mile of varied terrain and pass through several different habitats.
Registration is not required for this free activity and the walk will take place regardless of rain or snow.
