A Slippery Rock woman has been charged after it’s alleged she walked in front of a moving car in Slippery Rock last week.
On Wednesday, police were called to Centerville Pike for a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
Police alleged that 49-year-old Marcie Williams was standing on the bridge over the Slippery Rock Creek when she was hit.
Due to the crash Williams was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. When interviewed by police it’s alleged she said she was drinking and had parked nearby.
Williams was charged with recklessly endangering another person and several more charges related to driving under the influence.
She is currently awaiting a preliminary arraignment.
