Slippery Rock University football’s Marcus Martin ended his college playing career with a touchdown on Saturday in the 2018 East-West Shrine Game in Florida.
Martin, who is the all-time NCAA sack leader, played defensive end, fullback, and on special teams in Saturday’s game. His third quarter touchdown, which was the first touchdown for the East Team in Saturday’s game, was thrown by Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett. The East ended up falling to the West Team by a final of 14-10.
In other Slippery Rock football news, Martin leads a total of five Rock players who were named to the Hansen All-Region Team. The players, who are all seniors this past season, also include:
