It appears Butler County will be spared from significant snow this morning, as a winter weather system will stay to our south.
However, there was enough snow that led school districts to call for two-hour delays.
For those heading toward Pittsburgh this morning, there will be some traffic impacts. PennDOT has put Tier 2 restrictions on I-279, the PA Turnpike from Cranberry to Breezewood, and some parts of I-79 in the south. Tier 2 restrictions prohibits tractors without trailers, RVs, buses, and any passenger car towing a trailer.
