The South Butler School District has approved a plan to reopen this fall.
At a special meeting last night, the board voted 7-1 to move forward with a health and safety plan that does not require masks in schools.
However, all students on buses must wear masks and the district will aim to practice social distancing when possible.
The meeting was held because districts are required to submit a health plan by July 30th.
District officials say that while this is the current plan, it is subject to change if circumstances dictate.
