The South Butler County School District is taking the next step in the process of a high school renovation.
VEBH Architects has been chosen to lead the Knoch High School Renovation Project but will not be the “Architect of Record” for the district. South Butler does not currently have an “Architect of Record”.
12 architecture firms responded to a request for proposal issued by the district and the administration scored each submission to arrive at the six candidates that were interviewed in a public process in September.
Two finalists were then chosen from the interview process to give final presentations before the board made a selection for the project. The firm is expected to submit a contract for review by the district solicitor that will include the cost of the service.
