
The Butler BlueSox won their third game in a row with a 10-6 win over Kokomo Sunday. Butler plated a combined eight runs in the sixth and seventh innings to decide the game. The Sox evened their record at 11-11 overall with a two-game sweep of Kokomo. They take today off before visiting West Virginia Tuesday.
Their Friday night game with Chillicothe was rained out. It was to be a Fireworks night. With the postponement, the Sox will add a Fireworks night to the 500th game in franchise history, which is scheduled for Thursday, July 13th. It was already scheduled to be the first-ever “Babe, the BlueSox Ox” bobblehead night.
