A spaghetti dinner fundraiser is being held this weekend to help a local couple dealing with difficult situations.
Frank and Barb “Breeze” Menchyk lost all their belongings and two dogs in a recent house fire. Barb is also battling breast cancer.
The menu for the Sunday event from noon to 6 p.m. at the Prospect Fire Hall will include Spaghetti and Dessert. This meal is BYOB but pop and water will be provided.
This event will also include a Chinese Auction and 50/50 raffles, along with a donation basket and live music from The Shiners.
The cost for a takeout dinner is $10 while a $15 donation is requested for dinner and the band.
