Tomorrow’s special election for a house seat in the 8th District is still on.
The race is between Republican Tim Bonner and Democrat Phil Heasley to replace Tedd Nesbit who was elected to the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas last November.
The 8th District covers a portion of Butler County and Mercer County.
There is a polling location change for this special election. Voters who normally go to Trinity Lutheran Church will now go to the Church of God Prophecy on Mercer Road.
Director of Elections Sharri Brewer said voters are encouraged to bring their own black or blue pen and hand sanitizer—however there will be pens provided.
Polls open at 7 a.m and close at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
