A new partnership between Slippery Rock University and the Pennsylvania State Police aims to make it easier for students to transition to become a trooper.
The agreement will allow SRU students to spend the second semester of their senior year training at the State Police Academy. It will count for 15 credits toward a bachelor degree in criminology or criminal justice majors.
SRU officials say this will allow students to graduate from school and be ready to enter the police force at the end of their training.
