The Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team defeated Wheeling 82-71 last night at Morrow Field House. The Rock is off to a 3-0 start to their season for just the second time in 15 years. Freshman guard Dame Givner led the Rock with 24 points. They visit #5-ranked Fairmont State Saturday afternoon.
The Rock women defeated Lake Erie College 82-78 last night. They are 2-1 and host Glenville State for their home opener Saturday at 2pm.
