There’s still time for local residents to join in an effort to save lives.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives in April is planned for Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at SRU’s Robert Smith Student Center Theatre.
Another will take place on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lutheran Senior Life Passavant in Zelienople .
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a drive a chance to win one of two $10,000 gift cards.
Appointments are recommended but not required and walk-ins are welcome. More information can be found on Vitalant’s website.
