The Slippery Rock University History, Political Science, and Music Departments are sponsoring a virtual program tomorrow to educate about the atomic bomb that ended World War II.
“A Survivor’s Tale” is planned for Monday at 8 p.m. over Zoom.
The speaker was exposed to the bombing of Hiroshima in 1945 while in utero. The speaker is also a member of a grassroots Japanese organization of atomic bomb survivors that received the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize.
This program is sponsored by the SRU College of Liberal Arts and the Academic Affairs Division with registration available online.
