Slippery Rock University will recognize more than 500 students this weekend at their fall commencement.
More than 530 students will receive their bachelor or master degree at a ceremony in the Morrow Field House.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday and feature Elliott Haverlack as the commencement speaker who contributed $5 million to SRU last month and has the university’s College of Business named after him.
Students receive up to five tickets to the ceremony, but it will also be streamed online through the SRU website.
