Slippery Rock University quarterback Roland Rivers III will accept the 2019 Harlon Hill Trophy as the Division II National Player of the Year Thursday at the annual Little Rock Touchdown Club awards banquet at the DoubleTree in Little Rock.
The banquet is schedule to run from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST. A live stream of the banquet will be available at the Little Rock Touchdown Club’s website and Facebook pages. The Harlon Hill portion of the banquet is expected to take place between 1pm and 1:30 p.m.
Rivers is the first Slippery Rock player in program history to win the Harlon Hill Trophy and is the only player from a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division school to win the award.
