A new agreement will give Slippery Rock students a chance to get a head start on pursuing a law degree.
The university announced a 3+3 program with Widener Law Commonwealth that would allow them to earn a juris doctorate in six years.
SRU students must complete their major and general education requirements by their junior year and then they would be able to earn their final 30 credits at Widener their senior year.
SRU officials say the agreement will help students save money while fast tracking a career in law.
Widener Law Commonwealth is located in Harrisburg.
