Slippery Rock University students are preparing to stage a musical this weekend and the public is invited to attend.
The SRU Theatre Department is performing Seussical starting Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Miller Theater inside the Performing Arts Center. Additional shows will take place Saturday at the same time as well as Sunday at 2 and 6 p.m.
20 student cast members will participate in a 75 minute musical tale based on the many works and characters of Dr. Seuss. Special showings on Friday are also planned for students from Slippery Rock, Connoquenessing Valley, and West Middlesex Elementary Schools.
Admission is $12 for those with SRU students IDs and $15 for the general public with tickets available on the SRU website or at the door.
