February is Black History Month and Slippery Rock University has numerous programs planned to mark the occasion.
More than 15 in-person and virtual activities will include a keynote speaking appearance by artist, advocate, and educator Sunn m’Cheaux Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
Other activities sponsored by SRU’s Office for Inclusive Excellence this month include a talent show, a mobile history museum, pop-up shop, and Family Feud as well as the Ebony Ball on February 10th at the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
