The Slippery Rock men’s basketball team defeated Seton Hill 71-69 last night at Morrow Field House in the opening round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament. The Rock improved to 16-13 overall with the win and will travel to California Wednesday in the quarterfinal round.
Last night’s game was also The Rock’s first postseason victory since the 2017-18 season and gives them a 13-1 record in games played at Morrow Field House this season. Since its opening in 1959, there have been just four other Rock teams in program history compile at last 13 victories in a season at the Field House.
The Rock and Cal split their regular season game this year, with each team winning on their home court.
The Pitt men’s basketball team will host Florida State tonight. Tip-off is 9pm at the Petersen Events Center. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
