There is still time to join in an activity next month to benefit a great local cause.
The 32nd annual St. Barnabas Charities Free Care 5K is scheduled for August 5th at the St. Barnabas Gibsonia campus on Meridian Road.
For a cost of $30 per participant, competitive and amateur runner and walkers can enjoy a rolling course with ChampionChip Timing and USA Track and Field certification. Pets, smoking, and inline skates are prohibited. Medals for all ages will be awarded at a post-race party that will also include food and raffle prizes.
The proceeds from this race will benefit the Free Care Fund, which provides money to patients and residents who cannot afford care. Visit FreeCare5K.com or call 724-625-3770 to register by this Friday in order to guarantee a race t-shirt and runner’s bag.
