The American Red Cross is encouraging eligible donors to help out during an upcoming local blood drive.
St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on West Jefferson Street in Butler will host a blood drive on Tuesday from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Officials say the summer months can be among the most challenging times of the year for blood and platelet donations as regular donors delay giving while they take vacations and participate in summer activities.
Making an appointment is easy – download the Blood Donor App, visit the Red Cross website, or call 1-800-RED CROSS.
