The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority has approved the creation of a new position and will be bringing some young people on board to help with games at Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park.
The Authority hired Deborah Tincha to the position of Sales Representative following several interviews pending final agreement to a contract developed by the authority’s solicitor.
This one year deal will have a commission-based pay structure of 20% after signage cost for new and retained sponsors, advertisers, and suite renters. The authority has a goal of $25,000 in revenue received.
The Authority also plans to secure two employees through the Career Track program that will be paid through government grants. Additionally, student interns will be interviewed and utilized to help out with BlueSox games this summer.
