The annual mail carriers’ effort to help end hunger will happen again on Saturday.
This is the 32nd year of the nationwide Stamp Out Hunger effort. Locally, community members can leave healthy, nonperishable items in a bag by their mailbox.
Mail carriers, including rural carriers, will then pick up the bags when they deliver the mail.
With the help of the United Way, donations made in Butler will stay here in Butler to aid local residents in need.
