The price for a stamp will rise again later this month.
The United States Postal Service plans to increase the cost of a first class forever stamp by a nickel, taking it from 73 cents to 78 cents.
This approximately 7% increase will go into effect July 13th. The previous increase took place one year ago and was also five cents.
These price increases are part of the USPS 10 year Delivering for America plan designed to generate $44 billion in additional revenue and introduced in 2021 when the cost of a forever stamp was 55 cents.
