A couple of Butler County municipalities have been chosen to receive state funding for improvement projects.
The Commonwealth Financing Authority has approved an over $390,000 Multimodal Transportation Fund grant for Cranberry Township to improve the intersection of Brandt and Executive Drives.
According to State Representative Stephanie Scialabba, the CFA is also providing a $250,000 Local Share Account program grant to rehabilitate the Seven Fields Community Pool. This project will restore the main pool area through updated restrooms and upgraded equipment.
MTF grants ensure safe and reliable transportation while LSA grants target economic growth using revenue from gaming.
