Although federal guidelines may have been changed, vaccine recommendations in the Commonwealth have not.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reminding parents that in October, Governor Josh Shapiro signed an executive order that uses evidence-based vaccination schedules.
This means state agencies will align vaccine guidelines with trusted medical experts, ensure coverage of vaccines through private insurances, ensure coverage of vaccines through Medicaid, and more.
